hi,
i use win 2000 prof ... my tool bar has quick launch(whose accessing/deleting items i know..no probs)..and then part of tool bar that contains clock,y'messenger,volume control,lan connections,new updates etc items....
i want to remove let say volume control item ..how can i do that..?? OR if i want to add any new item how to do that..??
could some body plz enhance my knowledge in this regard..?

Under windows 2000. That link will tell you how to remove the icons from the system tray. On how to add icons there, some programs options will have an option that says, do you want to start these program when windows starts or do you want to add these program to the system tray. If the program have either option, go ahead and check it and next time you reboot you will see the icon for that program.
