It's good for the first site you have designed. The layout is very clear.
To market a website, you need to do a mix of on-site and off-site optimisation. I can't go into it all here, but if you Google SEO or search engine optimisation you'll find lots of tips for optimising your website and bringing more visitors in.
This includes things like article marketing, link building and forum seeding.
