HI! I think to create an online TV website but I still don't know how to get the streaming for my webpage.

There is a plug-in or something that I need?
These stremings come for free or I must pay for them?

Sorry for my lack of knowledge...

Hi, the first step is to determine if your web hosting or server supports live streaming. If so, you'll want to know what formats, bandwidth and protocols are supported.

There are publishing tools from vendors that enable you to create video players for your site for Flash, TV Channels (embedded or standalone), including some that require no knowledge of HTML or programming skills.

Here are some common formats for video files:
- Flash video files (.flv)
- DVD (.vob)
- MPEG (.mpg/.mpeg)
- Windows Media (.wmv, .avi)
- QuickTime (.mov)
