Hey guys, I have some questions that I hope I can get help on. Basically, I have obtained a domain name that I have been trying to get for a year and now I want to develop the site. I think this site is going to be pretty big if I do it right, I am a decent programmer that has been doing freelance design for a couple years but this is a big undertaking. Heres wat I need to know....

1. This is going to be a sort of myspace but it is not going to be a complete public thing, what languages would I use to do something like myspace? Database?

2. I buy all my website space from IPOWER, to run a site that is going to have potentially a thousand members anyways plus profiles including pictures, is this practical through a provider or should I think about getting an investor and buying a whole set up myself?

3. Should I go to an investment firm, pitch my idea and try and get them to pay or should I do this y myself?

I have more questions but these will help me now. Thank you in advance..

for ure first question, i'm sure myspace is using asp & *what in the name of their microsoft database*. compares to friendster that is using PHP & MySQL, its just a matter of "pay vs free". i dont believe which one is more power than other, but i do believe in expert coder.

i can't answer ure second and third question because it ways out of my experience.

hope that helps.
