Hi,, I'm new to website building, and I am trying to set up an access database to link to a website that will have a registration section so people can put in their names and email addresses for a monthly news letter. Can anyone tell me how this is done, or point me to a webpage that will help??? Thanx.
for threads regarding ASP and Access. There should be some helpful stuff there.

Are you using Coldfusion MX or IIS to connect the database?
I use coldfusion mx and dreamweaver mx to do what you are trying to do. If you are using these two apps, let me know and I will walk you through the steps.
In general, you will need a query name, datasource name, username, and password to connect if you have a host that can accommodate you.

I would like some pointers if you have time, ggirl.
I have ColdFusion and Macromedia, if they are the best tools to use.
I would like to add, modify and delete data from numerous linked tables in an Access database. Also, I would like to show reports in a browser based on information in the database. I'm working through a tutorial on adding, modifying and deleting data, so maybe I'll nail that soon.
