first off let me say this (besides thanks for reading this). I wasnt sure whether to put this in networking because of the access point or web development because its a webhosting problem. On to the problem.
I have this really annoying problem with my access point. I am trying to run a web server on my computer. When the server is running i can access everything fine on computer that is the server. When ever i try to get to the website im hosting through a computer that isnt the server it wont connect. i've tested a direct connection to the internet and hosted and it working fine! betweeen the server and the internet when it doesnt work is that access point.
the access point itself has no firewall or anything though it does have its own ip (of course). So what i think is that when im hosting the internet sees the access point as the server but it isnt so it doesnt connect.
If i need to clarify on anything please say and thanks in advance. I really hope there is a solution beside a direct connection which means an ugly 100 foot cable running through my house.
