Hi All,
I'm going to register a web site (lets say www.123.com) and I was wondering which IF ANY hosting company will allow me to send emails via my current isp and they won't be classe as SPAM
i.e. email:
ian@123.comAt the moment when I send mail certain organisations and HOTMAIL class them as spam because I'm sending via wanadoo but with a none wanadoo account from my other registered domain.
So what I'm asking is for a hosting company that allows use of their SMTP and POP3 so they are not classed as spam.
LAST QUESTION:
How difficult is it to put a email form on your website, do you need the hosting server to have certain config settings or other, any links etc will be greatly appreciated.
Regards.
Ian

If you've got a web host with pretty much any server-side scripting, it is likely that you can make a sendmail/contact form. For example, check out my page at http://www.james-greenwood.co.uk/contact/.
I use a simple PHP script that I wrote myself. Basically, the form passes data onto another PHP script which then sends it using my mail server. :-)

As to hosting ? - I just recommened DirectSpace.net to another 'poster'... with a domain name (@$15/yr.) - & maybe without - will get the smtp and pop suppt. you're in search of. (And unlimited 'branches' of.)
For forms, I finally found a good, simple script - and my host (above) has a cgi-bin of "readymade" scripts plus an scgi-bin for you to have your own installed. Yes!
