hi all
I'm looking for a reasonably priced web host, Canadian if possible but not a necessity. I know I can do a search but recommendations are almost always better. Must have Frontpage extensions. I already have 70mb on Rogers broadband but they are changing to Yahoo.Geocities.blahblah, and I'm not interested.Snap

If you can provide a little bit about your needs, we can give you better recommendation. How much space/bandwidth do you need? Do you need any particular server-side scripting language (asp, php, perl, jsp, .net, etc?) What is your price range? How many sites will you be hosting?
Having said that, search this forum and you'll find recommendations for tophosts.com, assortedinternet.com, hostforweb.com, powweb.com, and a few others I'm either forgetting or purposely omitting.

I'm not exactly sure what I need. I have a site for my hockey team I use to keep players updated. It turns out that about 24 teams are using my site and where it is now is going to somewhat expire. I'm looking to register a domain and find a place to call home. Inexpensive is kind of important because it's a hobby and the sevices I provide are free. My site is linked above and yes I know there is alot of room for improvement but I am a newbie and Frontpage is very simple. That's the reason for the extensions. I purchased Dreamweaver MX but seems very difficult in comparison.
thanks

I'm glad that I am not the only one that thinks DreamWeaver MX is much more complicated to use than the very "user friendly" Front Page.
I do all my sites in FP and have no complaints about it. I have 4 right now hosted with Netfirms.com I am looking into purchasing my own domain though. Just a matter of having the time to search for one. Not sure I'll stay with Netfirms although I have not had one bit of problems with them in the past 2 years.

are UK based, admittedly, but have great free and paid-for packages, with FP options.
Just my 2p worth!

Jut re-read. If inexpensive is the key, then an aquaintance of mine raves about www.purplecloud.net - have a look at the site and make a decision for yourself.
Again, UK based (like me) I'm afraid!!!
