Comment: I have recently created a web page for my computer game guild and would love to put either a bulletin board in or a forum of some sort nothing to complex as my web design skills are minimal as you can tell from my website http://www.thefrostwolflegacy.com.
anyone got any useful links to help me out or anything of the sort.

Reply: (edit)It's actually not complex at all. Upload the 301 files to your server, and follow the instructions. It's INCREDIBLY easy to set up.

Reply: (edit)You could look into the invisionfree hosted forums.
The free ones contain google ads, but they are not too intrusive. For a small fee, you can have the ads removed.
It makes a good alternative for a first forum. Please let us know if you found someone's advice to be helpful.
