Hi there,
I am interested in designing my own web page and in the archives here I found http://www.pagetutor.com
I started with the beginner tutorial and simply cut and pasted as is from the tutorial using NoteTab Light as suggested and when I got to using the tags on ward, it wasn't taking
Any suggestions.
Thanks

Personally, I prefer "HTMLGoodies" for learning all things web-related.

I started out using Pagtutor and I think it is an excellent tutorial.

I always use notepad as my editor and have never had a problem with it accepting code.

first off, when you do get started i would recommend NOT to use notepad... sure some people think notepad is the way to go... but there's one awesome feature that notepad does not possess and that would be colored coding. there's dozens of web-dev tools out there but the one that i've been using for over 5 years now would be "AceHTML" and they have a freeware program incase you didnt wanna pay for it.

the color coding makes a huge difference when you start getting into other languages and making more complicated sites. if you frogot one SIMPLE thing like a closing tag... you will know RIGHT after you make the mistake. trust me on this and get an editor with colored coding.
