I'm looking for a way to allow someone to upload a ms excel file to a specific directory of a website (requiring a password). And then using that file presented on a page.
Dear treveena There are many ways to do that. 1- First you need to protect your specific directory or folder from (Password Protect Directories - This option will allow you to require a username and password to access a folder or folders from the web) Cpanel Option. 2 – step 2: there are many of FTP software. That can give a privilege to allow someone to upload files to a specific directory of a website. with a password Or you can replace FTP software by a simple upload script located at the same specific directory or folder as index file. (index.php,index.htm , index.asp….etc) Wish that will be useful
