Hey guys im just alittle worried, I have approx 40 sites, most are dynamic database driven with cascading sets of permissions and applications.
How do I upgrade from Plesk 7.6 to 8.2 and what effects will it have on live websites, email accounts and folder permissions?
Do they have to be configured in the PLESK interface or directly in IIS?
What are the best steps! HELP!
Any knowledge is valuable, as im a newby when it comes to upgrading Plesk.
NooK
PS: Im upgrading Plesk due to recent problems with PHP4 Flagging our ecommerce sites as unsecured, we tried to upgrade to PHP5 using a knowledgebase workaround, this failed due to some of our sites not working with PHP5 for some unknown reason.

There's no documentation from plesk regarding upgrades? At the very least, whatever you do, make sure you back up every site before you upgrade. Too bad you don't have a development server that you can run a site on and test the upgrade. I dont use plesk, but I'm 99% sure that there is some kind of documentation/support from them on this. :) Sorry I can't be more help, but make sure you back up your sites before the upgrade.
