Hello,
I have registered a new domain name http://www.debt-consolidation-consu... through http://www.domainsarefree.com almost 2 weeks ago.
When the domain was still parked at domainsarefree.com I could access their parked page. However since I changed the nameservers and pointed them to http://www.servage.net it is as if it disappeared off the internet.
Whenever I type in http://www.debt-consolidation-consu... I get the following:
-------------------
The requested URL could not be retrievedWhile trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.debt-consolidation-consu...
The following error was encountered:
Unable to determine IP address from host name for www.debt-consolidation-consulting.com
The dnsserver returned:No Address records
This means that:The cache was not able to resolve the hostname presented in the URL.
Check if the address is correct
-------------------
It has now been more than a full 7 days and still I cannot see this domain. I have been told it takes up to 72 hours for this to happen, however it is now way more than that. The WHOIS database shows that the domain is pointing to ns1.servage.net & ns2.servage.net but it is not showing up.Can anybody tell me what the problem is and what I can do?
Thanks for your help

You stated that you changed the nameservers to servage.net. Did you contact them to host your DNS records?
Every domain has an "authoritative" DNS server. That DNS server is the one responsible for propogating the DNS records for that domain to all the other DNS servers. So, in addition to having someone host your site, you also need someone to host your DNS records. Many times the same company does both.
