Folks, I've created a little slide show using this utility: http://dynamicdrive.com/dynamicinde... It works well...but....when the page is viewed, it has a big gap at the bottom of the rotating images. I'd like to have text as close to the top and bottom borders as possible...but the bottom of this slide show has what appears to be a kind of grayed-out block almost exactly the same size as the actual image directly under it. It's like the image is sitting atop a light grey box which is the same size as the image. The result is that, while the slide show looks nice...the text does not show until way down the page. If the user does not know to scroll down...it looks like the home page just has a title and 1 slide show. For others referencing this....the sample code is set to display 2 simultaneous slideshows. Simply edit the line: var fadeimages2=new Array() //2nd array set example. Remove or add more sets as needed. To be: var fadeimages1=new Array() //2nd array set example. Remove or add more sets as needed. ...and only 1 will show. That gap at the bottom is simply the space reserved for the second show...if there had been pictures for it.
