anyone tested the new IE7? ..anyone knows if finally they gonna start display everything on a site in the sma eplace firefox displays? .. it a "little" annoying that the 2 most used brosers display things diferent , almost never in the same position ..:(

There are some minor changes to the way IE7 displays styles, but it does not come close to matching FF.
Although FF adheres to the standards much more closely, don't expect that MS is going to change IE any time soon to be more compliant. The problem is that IE is still the dominant browser and most web sites and applications have been built to be optomized for IE. If MS was to make any major changes to IE7 then those sites would no longer look as intended on IE7.
This would probably create a mass exodous from IE.

web designers just have to live with it. I currently use firefox, ie6, and opera to test for designs (layout). If it's w3c valid and not too different on any of those 3 browsers, then it's enough :P I also check viewing the page with styles turned off.
