Taking pictures off the internet

Hey guys, I got a wuestion, how do i take a picture off the internet and save it on my computer. I know to right click then do save as but when i save it and open it it will not allow me to look at it, this is a drawins that is a gif. any help would be appreciated.

What error message and/or program does it try to open with? If its a gif, you should be able to open or navigate to it with Internet Explorer and it will display correctly, unless you saved the wrong image.

I find that i have a problem in Netscape with saving pictures, but there shouldn't be a problem in explorer

It is possible that they are dissabling the right click feature w/javascript... but I'm not sure since your post isnt really all that clear.
