Hi. I am web designing and want to make available "videos" 1-3 minutes on the web site so viewers can pick the video they want. Would like to use compatable WMP and have tried this on my current web site (dial up), plays fine on my system, but when it comes up on my web site in WMP it hangs and does not load - my isp has a thing with band width I believe. I have used the WMP site to set it up I believe in asx or something or the other, but have no luck.
Any simple way to do this???????? set up your video to come up in Windows Media Player, or am I out of luck until dsl gotten.
******Also, what is the best busines "low cost" private software to use to have your own private videoconferencing with up to 5-10 people for business or info meetings????
******Last on the list - I have had great luck with Webcam 32 streaming or stills, no problem, change ip address every time on dial up and etccccc!!!!! ********But for the life of me I can not stream live sound as I do video, is it done the same way as video with java applets and the application. I know I can't stream sound and video over dial up very well if at all, but would like to stream live sound, (not saved to site) live sound!!!!
Any help would be greatly and most interestingly appreciated.

I have heard there is a "free" version of Real Producer, is this program a good one.
*****Also to complicate matters, I have a Win TV card and run a sound cord from the Win Tv card on the back of the computer located in a pci slot to my sound plugin, unsure of line in or what to the motherboard also located on the back of the computer near the audio and mic plug ins.
I have also tried several programs to "record" live sound from chat meetings and to no avail, and was told it was probably something to do with my sound (onboard) being half duplex or something like that, would I have to upgrade to a PCI physical sound card and if so what is a good one.
Know this is a lot guys, but my expertise needs expanding and I need your help.
Any help appreciated. Thanks.

As far as the file not streaming like it's supposed to, let us know exactly what you're doing/not doing so we can help you out.
Without knowing what you tried or haven't tried, not sure how to help.

I have used Windows Media Player, went to their site for .asx setup or the other, worked fine on my system, on net the clip came up in Windows Media Player but hung, video only 1 minute.
I have used Webcam 32 and javascript to do stills and live video feeds with dial up with not really a problem, slow at times because of dial up.
Tried to use the javascript and I believe webcam 32 for sound only using the sound javascript as I do with the video javascript to no avail, as I have no clue as to what apps stream sound and have gotten nothing to work although I heard the free "Real Producer will do this.
Tried several free programs to record live talk chat sessions as I like to go to the tech chat forums, have deleted them since, but think "soundrecorder" was one of them, they are the free ones you get from a google search.
Here is my tutorial for the webcam 32, although I believe there is a javascript that records sound, but don't know a bit on how to do it:

I also have onboard sound, (not a true "physical pci" sound card) and was told I might need to upgrade something to do with the sound being half duplex or something.
I think Microsoft has a new program though expensive about $300 for the videoconferencing for businesses which is
private.Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, it's probably just me being stupid (heck...it's still early here, LOL), but I still don't understand what you're trying to do.
In your original post, it sounds as if you want to make 1-3 min. videos available for download (streaming). In your other post, you talk about video conferencing and live streams.
Which are you having problems with?

Want to do both.
Want the best commercial "private" video conference software so that I can do live meetings, not bothered with nonprivate issues, i.e. wrong parties joined, etc.
Also I want videos available for play or download either one but with minimal server space!!!!!!!!!!
Used to use a java applet to stream video over webcam32 which also has a voice applet option but could never get it to work, but I have dial up only, and usually can't stream both, has to be either voice or video separately.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!
