Hi,

I'm comfortable creating animations but am new to Flash. I've created a 2 minute movie for a friend's marketing campaign but i can't seem to get it under 10 meg which is obviously to big for emailing or website purposes. Any tips on how to get the file size down would be appreciated. Should i create a Quicktime movie and import to Flash, create an AVI and import to flash or just do as i have been doing in assembling jpg's/gifs straight into flash? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance,
wired

Did you export it as a SWF?

Yes, i've exported it as a SWF. I've also tried MPG and WMF. They all work but they're all very large.

Do you have any sound in there? Sound is best used as WAV files, and at 8 bit mono setting, otherwise the sound file is too large.
