Through html command (a href="file:///\\computer name\folder">UPDATION), a group of users can modify/add information on my computer. after deactivate the "password protected sharing", user can access file from other computer. but the above folder can also be access by all users of intranet. pl.inform simple way to limited accessibility only for the users account available in my computer.

Hi, you will need to set up password protection if you want to enable only authorized users to access your file over the Internet. So for example, set up FTP access for your folder with a username and password.
