I am stuck with the searchnow toolbar and I have tried lots of things to delete it with no sucess... would someone know how to get rid of it ??

we need more information - is it the search now part of msie you are trying to remove or a toolbar that you installed such as the google toolbar?
serge

it is a toolber that somehow got put down the bottom of the screen. I did not install it and dont want it. http://searchweb2.com/passthrough/newpass2.html that is the website it says in properties
it wont let u delete it
just tell me if u want anymore inforamtion

i am not sure how to get rid of it
if you did not install it and it showed up then you must have said yes to something that allowed it to be installed
download a free spyware scanner from www.lavasoftusa.com and check to see if what you have is spyware and whether they can get rid of it for you

As Serge said, it sounds like it is a garbage ware thing that was downloaded while you were on the internet.
The program that Serge gives a link for is called Ad-Aware. Another one is Spy-bot. I use both because each seems to find things that the other doesn't.
Also, Spybot now has a setting (under the Immunize section) that blocks the automatic downloading of most garbage ware. I don't know the web address for Spybot. Go to www.komando.com and use the Kim's Shareware and Shareware Archive menu options to look for SpyBot. I've down a websearch before on spybot and find a lot of garbage that isn't the program that I'm talking about.
About once a week or so, or whenever I notice stuff like the search deal that you've mentioned, I run both of these programs (be sure to update them from the internet first) and I have them delete anything that they offer up as bad.

problem is i have used ad-aware,
spy-subtract
CW Shredder
Spy Blocs
and xoft spy and they dont detect it!!!!doesnt matter if you dont know

a final thought - try uninstalling msie and reinstalling it
try also going to http://searchweb2.com/ to see if they offer advice on removing their search now bar

doesnt matter bout any of it i have unistalled it fianlly after going through their website and selecting to unistall any lop.com products!!!!
finally it is gone thanks for your help

I used the advanced option in the Internet Explorer then tools at top (next to help) then internet options, then advanced. I unticked the enable third party browser extentions, however I think this would get rid of google tool bar etc. Thought I would put my option in, this may be a way of not getting it again
