Reply: (edit)Create a text document and put this into it (replace [] with <>): [html] [head][/head] [body] [a href="URL"]LINK[/a] [/body] [/html] Replace URL with the URL to the file in question. Now save the document with a ".htm" extension. Now open the file - it will open in IE. Right click on the "Link". Michael J

Reply: (edit)I tried this with this address (audio file) and it didn't work. Where do I click on the "link"? The url wasn't highlighted and nothing was "click-able". here's what I used: <html> <head></head> <body> LINK </body> </html> (it wasn't broken up in extra lines as above)

Reply: (edit)Well, I don't know what the problem is. In the code you posted here the LINK was actually processed as HTML and I can right-click on the word LINK above and select to save as for the linked file. Michael J

Reply: (edit)Not really. As I said, it works for me, so I have to assume that the issue is some setting on your computer. The only thing I can think of that would maket he "Save Target as..." option not available would be a change in the registry. You could try doing a repair install of IE. I believe you can run it from Add/Remove programs. Michael J
