i run a site in which i host a pdf file.
when clicked, it makes it open via the web....i dont like that.

i want to make it so when clicked, it opens up the pop menu for a designation as to where to save it on ur local hard drive. Just like as if u were to do a "right click save target as" i just want that effect with one left click though. any help would be appreciated.

you need to do a little scripting.

otherwise, the only other way is to provide the link to the pdf file and a little note: "please right click and save target as" :D
