I was wondering how I might run a little web server (that's easy), but that might accept some sort of a CGI post, that would make the remote machine start an application.

Only one application, and that would never change.

Specifically, I run a webserver, and RealVNC, and I accidentally closed down the RealVNC server, so I can no longer access the server. So to prevent this in the future, I'd like to run, on some non-descript port, a little button, that when clicked, starts RealVNC back up. (It calls "C:\Program Files\RealVNC\VNC4\winvnc4.exe" -noconsole -start

I'm a complete newbie, and so any prebuilt would help so much that otherwise, I would probably never be able to implement it.

Thanks.

Brian
