Hi there. I was wondering if it's possible to relocate the bookmarks html page in Firefox? The reason I want to do this is because the last time I formatted my drive I forgot to save the Favorites folder in IE and now I have the IE Favorites folder in my own personal folder which I will always save when formating. Can I do this with Firefox or does it have to be in the Profile folder in Application data?
Thanks for any advice :-)

This should work...(basic instructions)
Close all instances of FireFox.
From RUN window, type:firefox.exe -profilemanager
Create new Profile and select location
of new profile folder.Exit Profile Manager
Copy contents of old profile into new location.
chrome [folder]
extensions [folder]
defaults.ini
compatibility.ini
components.ini
compreg.dat
cookies.txt
cert8.db
formhistory.dat
key3.db
xpti.dat
prefs.js
XUL.mfl
bookmarks.bak
bookmarks.html
history.dat
localstore.rdfI tried it copying ALL files and it didn't work. When I copied only the files above, it worked fine.
After copying, I started FireFox from the Profile Manager and selected my new profile and clicked on the "Start FireFox" button.Once you have it running, I assume you can delete your old profile (I didn't as I have no need to move my current profile.)
Good Luck!
