Hi,
I'm looking for some reasonably priced stock photo CDs and I'm finding nothing but a range of prices which are leaving my scratching my head (until it hurts!).
Basically, I need the pictures for some website which I am making, but £499 seems a bit steep for a CD with 100 images which are such high resolution that you can print them full size A3 - I will use 1 iota of that!
Does anyone have any good links to some sites which provide some good stock photos (online or CD) which can be used, at a reasonable price, for websites?
Thanks a lot, I really appreciate any help.
Warm Regards,

Try just searching on Google Images for something you need. If you find something there is always a website address for the location of the original picture. Go to that site, look for a webmaster or contact email and simply ask permission to use the picture. They might let you or maybe charge you a small fee for use. The problem with buying a CD is that you usually get a bunch of pictures you don't need just to get one you want. The problem with the images on google is most of them might be too small in size. Maybe the owner will have a bigger copy. Good Luck

istockphoto, which gncd mentioned, is a good one.
http://www.photoshopsupport.com/resources/stock-photos.html has a list of free stock photo websites, which you might find useful.
