I have my web pages on geocities.com. What I would like to do is upoload either text or excel file and then read the data in them from a html file using vbscript. Is this possible? Please help or direct me in the right direction so that I can learn.
Thanks.

There are tons of tutorials on the web. If this page will be for your own exclusive use then VBScript will be OK. But, if others will be visiting this page, then you will want to use JavaScript since VBScript is not supported outside of IE.

You might also be prevented from accomplishing this if Geocities has some kind of restriction in place.
