Design issues aside:

1. This is just my personal taste, but I don't like sites where the content "floats" in the center because it moves around as you resizet he page.

2. Home page: right justify the time elements so they line up.

3. Navigation links are "moved" on the Links page

1. What is the purpose of the site? “Jake’s Computers Improving Computers Daily” would seem to indicate that you either sell custom computers or possibly provide a repair or tech support service. However nothing else on your site supports that assumption.

2. Every link on your site (besides the basic nav links) sends the visitor to someone else’s site. Why? You need to provide more content on your site if you want them to stay longer than a few seconds or a minite or 2 at best.

3. The color scheme on the links pages needs to be changed. Black bold text on dark green background is hard to read.

4. The url’s on the links page (URL column) should actually be links.

5. Putting July 22, 2005 Navigation on each page’s navigation section is IMO unneeded and looks unprofessional.

6. The size (width) and therefore the position of your content table changes for each page; it should remain consistent.

7. Your “Groups” page should include a short description of each group

I agree with the comments already stated, in particular the colour scheme and making sure all your links etc stay in the right place.
I would consider a better design for your navigation, rather than just basic text links try something a bit more interesting, maybe images or mouseovers, at the very least put them in a different page area or coloured box to the main content (you have done this on the links page but nowhere else).
A few more images would also brighten things up, people stay longer on a site that is visual appealing (as long as you have content as pointed out by fishmonger). If you aren't much good at graphics there are alot of free images available which you can modify to fit your site.

Also... Never underestimate the ability of poor grammar to convey an unprofessional image!

The site is inconsistent, unprofessional and quite unappealing. I agree with everything that has been said so far.

There is no real content, no obvious purpose and a feeling of disjointedness as you move around the site.

As I've said the last time you posted, you need some real web hosting and a real domain. See this page for the web hosting deal near the bottom (Copper Package). That is less than $1 a year! You get 200 MB disk space, 5 GB of monthly data transfer, unlimited POP email accounts, a MySQL database, PHP and lots more. You can also register a domain name, such as "jakescomputers.net" (available), through them. It would then cost just $10.84 per year, for both hosting and the domain.

I think that's well worth it to give a professional image.

those 5 links on the left side on the index page should be put into a separate "class" and should be given a left margin of about 3. i hate it when the text is just sitting on the VERY edge of the page

td.nav{
padding-left: 3;
}

I don't think there's a need to bash the guy. I think it is good compared to a lot of bad sites out there.

I would recommend changing the picture of the laptop, that looks like an old one.

The other thing I would recommend is grouping the 4 text lines a bit closer together so the visitor doesn't have to scroll down.

On the downloads page, I would recommend listing Antivirus programs, spyware scanners, boot disks, etc.

As for the color schemes, pick something friendly, the red colors gives it a "terminator" feel. Blue colors are psychologically more comforting (like microsoft's site).

Good luck with everything.
