In the same site of BBC you will have seen that two different <DIV> cells are in a same row. So how we can make these cells in a same row? The actually <div> is still has square corners but the secret is to use a image for the background that has the corner shaded the same as the background. This makes it look like the div is rounded but it's just the background. so if you just wanted the bottom corners rounded you can make a image file like this here. So you can see it matches the background but the image is square. So then what you would do is either make multiple divs within one div then you can make a top, a middle(content) and a bottom.
