Problems with my webserver

February 28, 2010 at 05:13:48
Specs: Macintosh 10.6.2
Im having a slight bit of trouble with my web server. I
am running snow leapord and have installed MAMP.
everything has gone fine, I can view my website by
visting localhost or the ip address of the computer
itself. I have sky broadband, and they do not provide
a static ip, so just for now I have setup a dyndns
account. Its logged my ip etc, but when I go to either
my external wan ip, or the domain name dyndns gave
me, it brings up my router setup page, and not my
website. Apache is set to port 8888 as i believe my
isp has blocked 80 and i have tried adding :8888 to
the end of the address i type. port forwarding is all set
to forward 8888 to my lan address.
Anyone got any ideas?

Have you tried changing the server's listen port to 8000?
