I've tested the following page with Firefox and IE and all seems fine, however when you try it with Netscape 8.0 and you click on the small images it makes the page longer, by changing the how below the image is displayed and it also adds a lot of blank space at the bottom, below the footer.

Anyhelp?

It looks to be a problem witht he javascript. you will need to debug it. As I don't run Netscape I can't provide any assistance with it. I think it might be due to the style properties you are setting in the javascript - try "inline" instead of "block"

A page where I also use this code works fine on all browsers, but with the above page I have swapped the clicks for each image from numbers to thumbnails and removed some of the obsolete code.

I've been going through the code adding back in to no avail.

Problem page = Link

Working page = Link

That's a nice bit of information that you left out! Were we supposed to use our crystal balls to find that out?

As I said I don't run Netscape, so I don't see the problem. Start with the working code and make partial changes to get where you want it and you will find where it breaks.

The whole problem is due to the layout of the code and the commands for moving bacwards and forwards etc must be placed within the same <td>.

Thanks
