Hi. I have frontpage 2002, XP SP2, 3.06ghz/1gig ram.

I am editing a page I saved from the internet with frontpage 2002. This page contains tables, banner ads, google adsense and a whole bunch of crap that was on that page. When I open it with frontpage 2002, I can see in the taskbar that it says "requesting data" and the page hangs and some frontpage menu is shaded out like save, etc. Also I can not do anything with the web page. It is like frozen in there. I used to edit this page fine before and now I can't. I recently updated all office security patches and to SP2 from microsoft. I know it must be something with security. Maybe the page tries to access the location where the pictures, scripts, etc. are hosted at? How can I fix this problem?

It would be my guess also that the page is trying to load something from some other server and some security setting is blocking.

Open the file with NotePad, WordPad, Word, etc. These programs won't try to follow the links to images, etc.

Be sure to come back and let us know if our suggestions helped!
