I'm creating a pop-up ad on my website. I created a jpg and a gif to go in. I'm using Dreamweaver by the way! When complete, I can test it and see the .jpg or .gif. But once I upload the file, I can't see it! It gives me a box with an x as if it's broken. I checked the path to make sure it correct and it is...

*** If you go to the url below you will get the pop-up! I end up typing the words instead of using the .jpg or .gif that I created.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Thanks!

Thanks!

Angel

It sounds to me like the path to the image is incorrect in some way. A problem I have had is the website editor I am using puts a file path to the image on my harddrive. Something like "file//c:folder/picture.jpg" or something like that. Make sure your web page code is not like this before uploading. Another problem I have run across is the extension on the image is in capitol letters on the webpage and small letters on the webserver or vice-verse. Also, there is no link to your website that I can see, so I couldn't check your code.

Thanks for the info! Sorry for the late response... I'm going to check them and I do think I'm getting the "file//c:folder/picture.jpg" issue... How do I fix that? web page is www.wingsoffaithministry.org

Thanks!

I don't know if there is a way to stop the extra code from being inserted into the web pages. I always just check to see if any have it and if it is there I use the Find/Replace feature to go through every page to eliminte it. By the way, great job on the website. It looks very nice.
