prob wiv flash file

i have created a file in flash mx 2004 pro at uni, but when i try to open it on my version of flash mx 2004 pro i get the error message "unexpected file format".
i really need 2 get the file open, as the file has taken me ages 2 do!! any sugestions please??

if you can, try going back there and opening it, and if you can try resaving it or see if youc an save it as a dif. file format. because it may have become corrupted in the transfer.. what did you store it on?

yea it was at university. i transfered it on a cd. the other files on the cd r ok, like the .swf files, its just the flash files.

hm. thats strange.. and its the same version of the program? because that doesn't really make any sense, lol. *stupid programs*..^_^
