I am working in a web page and I want the background color to be visible in printing ,the problem is when I click print the background returns white.
any one can help?

as a programmer , I want the background to be printed for every viewer of my page even if he didnt choose to print the background and I saw this link befor.

If the background colour of the page isnt absolutely vital to displaying the data on the page, as in the link above, you should not force people to print the background of the page because they may be using a black and white printer or their colours may not display as they are on the actual webpage. However, if you really want to display a background colour for your web page the only other way i can think to do it is to use an actual image the same size as your page and set the z-index to be lower than everything else on your page.
