This is a reasonably common question. Search this forum and the programming one.

Here's one that has what you need:
frames thread

The search engine isn't going to register whether it should be inside a frameset or not, it will simply return that page as the result then load just that page if you click on it.

Two things you could do. The first one is to stop search engines crawling the framed pages by using noindex and nofollow meta tags, but if you did that then nothing would be indexed except the frameset index page. So the only appropriate answer is to stop using frames, or at least offer an alternative no-frames mirror of the site.

Apart from this enabling search engines to crawl and index your site properly, it will allow those whose browsers or page readers cannot interpret frames gain access to your site and thus increase your visit count.
