Prepare FLV file for web

Specs: Vista SP1, 3.0Ghz,2Ghz
I want to convert an mpg file to flv. I've heard of Riva FLV Encoder. What is the latest version for Vista? Where can I download it? Also, where can I find the Online Flash Player (.swf file) for download? I want to make a video that can play on a cell phone. I believe once it's in FLV format, the video will play across a number of different devices, PC, mobile phone, iPAD, etc. Is this correct? Thanks.

FLV yes, for everything but an iPhone or iPad (they do not support flash)

Would need to be an H.264 for iOS (but, that does not work on Internet Explorer)

The best bet - upload it to youtube. They'll handle all the conversion for you AND pay for the hosting costs. Use the 'embed' code if you need it on a different website.

Thanks! I didn't know that YouTube handles conversions on the fly.

By the way, what format video does the iPhone and iPAD support? Thanks.
