How can you use another nameserver at a different geographic location to go online if the primary domain is offline during a network outage?

My webhosting provider shows a list of nameservers. Only 2 namerservers are being used.

Is this possible?

The location of the nameserver is of no importance. IP address don't care where they are.

If you don't wish to use the 2 being provide with your payment then you need to purchase another dns service or use a free one. You could in fact use hosts files in some situations. Some proxy servers allow for failover.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
