im looking for a way for a "pop up window" to come up on my site to let people aware of updates to events.
i dont just want text. i would want just one big image to pop up.
anybody know this script that can do this? thanks.

download the free excellent program "webmaster tools" from http://webmastertools.sawpit.net/webtools3.html and you will find a script that tells you how to do it...and more!

...though many search engines wont accept your site, and many people dont like those at all. When I was trying to do something relating to popups a little while ago, I was always told: dont do it if you want visitors to your site...
Though I'm sure there are exceptions to this rule and proper times and places to place them...
