ok, i know javascript can do a whole lotta weird cool things and i was wondering if php can do a lot of the things that javascript can. if it cant, about what percentage can it do? i ask beccause i'd totally rather use php over javascript, javascript is stupid and i dont know a whole lot of it, the syntax that is. Beside all the things that have been said; JavaScript is also required for menu's, advanced lay-out, css-control, dynamic styles etc etc. You cannot make a site look nice and dynamic without javascript. You think about javascript too much in terms of a program, and not as a script wich can control much about everything that is shown in a browser window...
