Comment:

I am revamping my entire web site using php. I am having trouble adding a new section of recent phpbb topics to my main page.

i have a segment of php code that pulls the 5 most recent topics of my phpbb database. separately, i have a statement of php code that pulls a random picture from my gallery2 installation. the problem is, when i insert the code for the recent topics into a table, the untouched code for the random picture no longer works.

I realize this is difficult to describe.

Page without recent posts section:
http://www.fleetmack.com/2.0/

Page with recent post section (as you see, the random picture goes away, although I haven't touched its code):
http://www.fleetmack.com/2.0/index_...

And lastly, my code:
http://www.fleetmack.com/2.0/index_...

Thanks in advance for any tips on how to get everything to display (I realize it needs hardcore formatting, but I want it working before I do that!)
