Specs: Windows 7
I have a HTML form with the submit target as an
offsite php script that processes the data and
sends back a return string. What i don't know is
how do I capture that return data to process in
another script?

You don't "capture" the return data. The script you submit to gets control and that's that. No one has "called" it and gets control back. You'll have to restructure your scripts to do something with the data -- extending the submitted script to do other things with the data, or making it a wrapper around the script that "returns" data, are two possibilities. Then it has to put up a page, or just quit and return to the browser.

echo $_REQUEST['return_data_variable'];
