Bugsy,

Here is a good place to start if you are brand new to Photoshop -

About.com

Starts out with the brushes and more tool basics. You can sign up for a lesson a day through email. It's free. There is lot's more stuff and info. It's almost like an E-Book because since it's online, there are screen captures of what you see in Photoshop as you are studying it you can have Photoshop running and the tutorial at the same time. I also might recommend an E-Book I use (if you don't mind spending a little money). E-Book

Just the free online tutorials should give you enough to keep you busy studying every day for about a year.

There are probably 1000's of other places on the web to get free tutorials.

Jimi.

Thanks everyone. A few years ago I was introduced to Photoshope and gave up on it as I thought it was incredibly detailed and hard.

I then found library books and how to's and video shows. I love it.

Thanks again.
