I want to use my son's name as a .com in order to send information about his distorted upbringing. Hopefully if he or someone else discovers the site he will look at it and the content with explanations and pictures of the parental alienation he went through. Can I use his name?

Hi, if the .com domain name is available and not registered by someone else, you should be to purchase the domain name.

You can use whatever name you like in a domain name within the bounds of decency providing someone else hasn't taken it.

You need to register the domain name with a registrar and pay a fee which is renewable, usually every two years.

If yourname.com is already taken you may be able to use another top level domain like yourname.net
