Path to .htpasswd file

CPU/Ram: Pentium 4 2.53GHz / 512MB

I'm running Apache on WIndows XP. I have a .htpasswd file in C:\OpenSA\Apache2\ and I want to point one of my .htaccess fiels to it. When I put the path in as "C:\OpenSA\Apache2\" it dson't work. Am I doing something wrong?
