Hello, I'm studying php and mysql. I'm trying to use some guestbook examples but I have some problems to view the pages from some PC. The web pages are on my PC (Server IIS - OS XP Pro). From other PC with XP Pro all is ok, but from other PC with windows 98 or NT workstation when I try to view the pages, a username/password is prompted. Of course I can't give the password for the access to my PC to other people out of the office. Maybe the problem is on IIS configuration? Where and what I have to change? Thanks Orvietta

dunno if this will help, but are you running your page on a NTFS drive? If so theres a attribute you need to change if u highlight the files in the wwwroot folder, right click, properties, beside the read-only etc there should be a advanced button and theres something like "encrypt contents to secure data" if u uncheck it others should be able to view the pages. This is what i do on my win2000pro IIS server to fix that promt for pass.
