ok i have a right click script, works great, but only in IE tho...
i need it to work in others, mainly firefox n opera

Not in my IE, Jamie. Doesn't work, that is I can right-click all I want.
;-)
Just joshing, sure, you know why ;-)

Hi Jamie
Just wondering, as I always do when asked this question,
why do you think you need a no-right-click script? If it's
protecting your content then it's hopeless, as everything
displayed in the browser is stored on the local machine
anyway. Also, even with the scripts in place, there are
always ways around them, such as using keyboard
shortcuts or menu options.Sorry to go on, but it is something which really annoys me
when browsing, as I use right click often for what you
might call 'legitimate' functions - open new windows,
adding bookmarks, refresh etc. If I were a prospective
customer for some online business, I would not spend
much time on the website if they stopped the right click.Happy to listen to your side, though!
Andy

yeh exactly, their is only so far you can go protecting your content before you hit a wall....
but what im tryin to achieve, is make it as hard as possible
i have everything in a frame, so u cant use the Menu option and go to View >> Soruce
you cant break out of the frame because i have a javascript that will take you back to frame if your not in it
i have Ctrl & N and Control U disable so u cant open a new window using shortcuts.....
yeh sure everythin is stored on local machine, but not many people know about it...

Hi Jamie
Interesting ideas. What about mac/linux/other operating system users? And why are you so desparate to protect the content? When I'm in a Windows environment, looking at your site, what happens when I hit Ctrl-N to open a new window to get to gmail to contact you? Fortunately I'm probably going to be using my mac and safari, so the option or command buttons will still work, and I wont notice. You'll notice, because I'll be your first customer this month! Seriously, though, I really think that these measures could tie your website down too much.
If you really are worried about content theft, I think you should reconsider wether or not this content should be in the public domain in this way. Surely any self-respecting hacker isn't going to be stuck with Windows or IE!? They would also have javascript and the other fancy tools you plan to use disabled.
Sorry to go on, Jamie. Just playing devil's advocate with you!
Cheers
Andy
PS, have you implemented any of these plans yet? I'd love to try them out on various different combinations for you!
