Hello,

I am transfering over a database to a new server. I am going to run into a problem becuase when I created this site I had someone write a function in (I think) basic for the mysql db. He installed it through putty. I need that function to ensure this site works on the new server. How can I extract it from the server and reinstall it?

If it's a sql database then the issue your going to have is the connection info has to be the same at your new host. Is this for a website if so then your website most likely has a file for the connection info in it.
