I am making an html page of just text and images ("What I did during the Summer"!). What's the easiest way to have thumbnails of images for my readers to click on to see (and download) the full image. I don't want a gallery, I want the thumbnails embedded in the text.

Thanks in advance to all the great posters on these boards!

Not quite sure waht you are looking for: how to create the thumbnails themselves, or how to create the lniks.

For creating the thumbnails, MS has a free download as part of their XP powertoys which will automatically resize images. Once you have the thumbs and the full size images, just insert your thumbs (with links) like this (replace [] with <>).

This summer I wen to the lake [a href="path.fullsizeimagename.jpg" target="_blank"][img src="path/thumbimagename.jpg][/a]. then I went to...

The target="_blank" forces the full size image to open in a new window. To have it open in the same window you can remove that property or change the value to self. Or, of you want the full size images to open in a separate window, but int he same window, just give the target a name of your choosing.
