Building a site using tripod sitebuilder. It has handy dandy tools for linking to a page but not to a spot on the page. I can switch to HTML (I'm far from an expert) and create a link to a spot on the same page and it works fine. But I want to link to a spot above "Villia" on page id/13 so I insert an anchor <A name=A3> above the word and for my source link I put Villia. So far so good but there are 2 big problems: on the newly linked-to page all my images are gone and my navigation links don't work; all I can do is return to the previous page with the Back button. I've written to several forums like this with no results; can anyone help? -Rhymecon.

Here's a problem already! I had typed in my source link in my previous message but the computer thought it was a real link and wouldn't print it. It was < &A &href &=& then the URL followed by /#A3 &> followeed by Villia followed by <&/A>. I hope this prints out.

Next time you try, be sure to include use the URL, that way if the link doesn't work, at least we can copy the URL and get to the page.
To use HTML here, you have to use things like:
<href="blahblah"> etc

I haven't posted HTML in a while, so I messed that up:
Remove the spaces:
for 'less than' use "& lt ;"
for 'greater than' use "& gt ;" etc
