I have just installed the komodo 9 IDE for my web development work. It cannot copy and paste with the mouse because the mouse cannot drag over intended selections but just just slides over them without getting them highlighted.I have contacted ActiveState.com the makers of the program about the issue but they have said that there must be a security-related program on my computer which is trying to block their program.I only use Windows Defender for security on my computer-Windows 8.1. How do I go about identfying which program is disabling komodo from doing copy and paste ? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
komodo 9 IDE is already ticked under Private Networks and I have removed from the Firewall a second line of komodo that had a tick under Public Networks because I thought komodo was being confused by having ticks under Private and Public Networks at the same time. Nothing has changed.komodo still canot copy and paste. I believe it is another program that is not the Firewal or Windows defender but I cannot figure out which it is. Is there a way I could find out which programs on my computer are security-related other than the Firewall and Windows Defender? Is there a download I could get from Microsoft to fix this problem?
